 About Us

Gill & Mulholland LLP was created by a team of lawyers who wanted to break away from the traditional practice of law. 

We wanted to create a law firm that not only provides quality legal advice, but also provides our clients with trustworthy, practical and creative solutions that are tailored to the needs of the individual client in a timely manner.

We further understand that clients are busy and are balancing various demands for their time. We are therefore continually striving to create a better overall experience for our clients by searching out and implementing the newest advances in technology and software that support a more user friendly and streamlined experience for our clients that allows for a smoother and more convenient interaction with our lawyers and with the legal system.  

It is our goal to create a truly client-centred firm. 

Although Gill & Mulholland LLP started out solely as a litigation boutique law firm we realized early on that adding a Corporate Law Group would provide our clients with a much more well rounded legal experience and that this would service their needs in a more comprehensive and beneficial manner. As a result, Gill & Mulholland LLP added a Corporate Practice Group in 2021 with a wealth of experience in structuring businesses, preparing commercial agreements, and providing estate planning and support to complement our Litigation Practice Group. 

Our original team of litigation lawyers are known for their proficiency in handling commercial litigation disputes, real property litigation, collections, and professional negligence. They have represented clients in all manner of claims in the Superior Court, Court of Appeal and in professional disciplinary proceedings, including the Real Estate Counsel of Ontario (RECO), local real estate boards and in matters before the Licensing and Appeal Tribunal (LAT). 

Our Litigation Practice Group, like our clients, now have the added support of the Corporate Practice Group.

The teams work closely with our clients to determine the most effective and efficient way to resolve claims and ensures that clients understand all options available to them at all stages of the legal process. 

Gill & Mulholland LLP represents individuals, and small to medium size businesses, including, contractors, designers, real estate brokerages, brokers, agents and other professionals, all of whom are seeking hands on assistance with their legal requirements. We pride ourselves on our ability to understand the issues faced by our clients, anticipate potential disputes and formulate strategic plans to protect our clients’ interests over both the short and the long term. 

Through the course of years of experience, Gill & Mulholland LLP has built strong and trusted relationships with leading professionals, with a large range of specialities, legal and otherwise. These relationships allow us to direct our clients to our network of professionals who may be more well suited to handling the specific issues as they arise and our lawyers work closely with both our client and the other professional to ensure our clients needs are met.
